The most beautiful freedom poem

Dubrovnik, Croatia preserved it's freedom for centuries through wise policy and trade. They admired and cherished their freedom so much. Ivan Gundulic, a Croatian baroque poet wrote these verses in his famous pastoral 'Dubravka':
O beautiful, o beloved, o sweet freedom,
God has given us all the treasures in you,
you are the true source of all our glory,
you are the only decoration of this Dubrava.
All silver, all gold, all human lives
cannot repay your pure beauty!
Hope you find it as inspirational as I have.
